This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:22-24

So, how do I begin today's blog that is speaking about our testimony... Easy tell my testimony. So I was born in North Carolina into a very strong church going family. My dad was in the military and my mom owned her own beauty shop and almost all of my relatives lived within a 20 mile radius in Valdese, North Carolina. There was never any question that we were going to church on Sunday morning, night and Wednesday night. That was not an option. It was part of our family. On a Sunday night during a revival at My. Calvary Baptist Church, Brother Joe B. Church asked the question following the sermon and I felt this sensation that was going all throughout my body. I felt God calling me to step forward and give my life to Christ. At 8 years old, I walked down the aisle and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. A few weeks later I was baptized and my journey as a follower of Christ had begun. Now there is a lot more to that story, in fact I could probably take months or longer to tell you all of the struggles, hardships, joys, etc.. that I have faced since that day. But I need you to only understand for now the beginning of the story.

I know this might seem crazy, but only about 9 months ago did my brain step into the understanding of the word Testimony. Now growing up in the baptist world, I knew what a TESTIMONY was, don't get me wrong. I mean as soon as we can speak we are taught how to tell our story about how God interceded in our lives through Jesus and the impact that we can have in the world for eternity. I am not saying that part. I am saying that about 9 months ago, God opened my eyes to break down the word and realize truly what the word Testimony means. Yes, it is our story.. Yes, it is an opportunity to help lead others into a growing relationship with Christ, but in all reality it is the daily preparation final exam of

eternity. See, as I look at it, our entire lives we are prepping for the end life test. We are learning and studying and serving and growing and failing and transitioning into this person God already knew when we were knit together in our mother's wombs. Our entire life is a test that at the end of it all is a Pass/Fail. Yes there is grace and there is mercy during the time that we are alive, but that is all in preparation for the final decision of where we are going to spend eternity. It is one of two options. If we pass, we are Pass we spend eternity in heaven with God... Fail, we spend eternity separated from God in hell. And for many of us we choose heaven.. I get it, but see it is through our lives which is our TESTIMONY that makes the decision in the end.

I know that you may be saying.. woah... wait a minute Jason, I need you to break it down a little more for me today. Ok plain and simple... Our lives are our TESTIMONY of how we are gong to spend eternity. See break down the word.. Our lives are the TEST that I'M ON to tell Y I choose Jesus. That's the mind blowing thing that took me over 46 years to discover. Our living TESTIMONY is the opportunity that we have to receive the grace, mercy and love of God through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and offering our hearts, minds and souls to HIM for ALL ETERNITY. Our lives continue to offer the opportunity for others to see the life of Jesus dwelling in our lives. It is the opportunity for us to be real and honest, humble and willing, transparent and restored. The life that we are living is our argument or defense to the ONLY JUDGE that is going to make a decision when our lives are over. We see it plainly in Scripture. Either we will hear the phrase, "well done good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:23) or we will hear, "I never knew you...away from me you evildoers" (Matthew 7:23).

Every day is a test that allows us to truly allow others to see the impact that God has in our lives. It's not going to be perfect, but remember we are working towards perfection. There are days that we are going to "FALL SHORT" because we are sinners remember that important message. BUT also remember that we are justified by HIS GRACE. We have been given the opportunity for eternal life but we still have to answer the question correctly. And YES there is only ONE question. Is Jesus the Lord and Savior of Your Life?

This question is the total test and our entire lives is in preparation for that eternal moment. Remember scripture says, I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIGHT. NO ONE comes to the Father except through ME." John 14:6. We will overcome this world through the words of our testimony, but please realize the opportunity that we all have now to be able to help others in their walk as well. I have heard this countless times over the last few weeks, We are all in this together, and yes we are. So NOW is the TEST that I'M ON to tell everyone Y Jesus is the ONLY way. It is not the time to step back and wait... It is the TEST that we have been given to step forward and allow the LIGHT of GOD to shine through us. We shall overcome because regardless of the outcome I know that I am going to be living in eternity with God. But what about our neighbors, family members, or strangers... are we doing all that we can to help them to prepare for the final exam.
