Jesus said to his disciples:“Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. 6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you. Luke 17:1-2, 6.

There are days in our lives when we finally have to say enough is enough. We all reach a threshold that leads us to believe that everything is ok, but in the blink of an eye things change. We continue to question if we are making the right decisions and continue to barter with God on the opportunities that stand before us instead of taking the time that we need to take and pray and lay it at his feet. I am just glad that God has more patience and grace than we do, because I know that on more than one occasion God probably would have loved to say to me "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH". I know it. I know that there are days that I drag my feet and fail to trust HIM more than what I can see. I know that we have been called to step out of the boat and walk by faith. I know that we are in need of finding others to walk along side of us but we just cannot seem to open up and allow them the access to help us. I know all of this and still satan is able to drive us to make decisions that don't make sense. We continue to doubt our call and wonder why in the world we even have the opportunities that we have to live this life by all of the mistakes that we have made in the past. I know that just today I have probably made enough mistakes to cause God to SHH... or Shake His Head, but I continue to take courage and breathe and say ok God I am here to listen!!

We all have tendencies that cause us to stumble and fall. I know that I have said this before, but satan definitely knows what causes us to stumble and what bait to use to cause us to fall into temptation. As I was growing up, my dad use to say that different weather and different fish need different bait. But once you have found the one they are biting, you will never have

to change for the rest of the day. I don't know if that is entirely true for fish, but I do know that satan's bait comes in many different forms when it comes to me and to you. Satan knows what we desire and does anything and everything that he can to deter us. I just wish I could finally have the courage to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I mean how many times are we going to continue to fall into the same pitfalls and expect that the next time is going to be different if we do not change our path. We all continue to say that we are going to change, but until we take the time and effort to invest into change it will never happen. It is not just about the verbal way we respond but there has to be a PHYSICAL and MENTAL change that has to occur. If we continue to repeat the same mistakes because we are not willing to change our patterns, has transformation or humility actually occurred? We have to be willing to be uprooted and have faith to believe that GOD is in control over all things not us. We have to humbly stand before HIS feet and say Here I am God, how can I serve YOU today.

So as we look at our verse for today we are reminded that there are days that we have to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Jesus is speaking to the disciples and reminding them of the importance of their ministry. As Jesus is speaking to them, He is also speaking to us. He is reminding us of the importance of how we live our lives. We know that we have to make a choice and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. WE have to make the decision to change or realize that there are peoples whose lives may be affected by us. We are not called to lead people to follow us but to follow Jesus and that means that people need to see Jesus through our actions. We have to stop allowing satan the opportunity to hook us on the line for our sins, and start healing others find this freedom through Christ. The choice is not easy and it will continue to be a battle for all of us, but with each new day, we will have an opportunity to take change the world one person at a time. We will be able to infuse the grace of God into the lives of so many people that have been stuck in the same rut for a long time. The reality is right in front of us, but we have to make the decision to break free and never look back, or continue to play the game and find out that we will continue to make the same mistakes over and over and over again. Jesus is pretty straight forward when He says it is about faith to believe that we can move and change. Literally He was speaking about a mulberry tree but metaphorically He was talking about the small amount of faith of a mustard seed that is always alive and growing. From something that is virtually invisible, faith takes root and grows within us to transform us into something competently different. This faith will begin to produce fruit that will change the world.

So my question for us all today is what is that point to where enough is enough. What is it finally going to take to cause us to stop the madness and plan the seed of faith in our lives. The moment is upon us and I hope and pray that we take the time to recognize just how the impossible becomes possible. But as with anything else with Jesus and every person that He

met, it is a personal decision. It is not one that I can make for you and you cannot make it for me. It is one that will rock you to your core and stretch you beyond your comfort levels. Eternity is truly in the balance for not just you, but every person that you come into connection with every day. Reaching that point of saying I am tired of playing the world's game is huge and not one any of us should take lightly. Step into the moment with God and allow Him the opportunity to build you into the disciple you are called to be for Jesus. It may not happen over night, but the decision is the first step that can lead to a possible revival in this world. Are you ready for enough to be enough? Then step into the LIGHT and allow God to truly give you the freedom from those things that are holding you. God is ENOUGHT for us all and Jesus reiterates that when He says that HE is the LIGHT of the WORLD. God is saying that I AM ENOUGH to believe in and to follow to eternity. Plant the seeds of faith in your heart and watch as your life will begin to grow beyond just belief and more into action. I am ready... are you?
